School Events
 Janet Laurence Retires

Janet and her husband Johnny began their involvement at Little Flower by sacrificing and putting eight children through the school.  During that time Janet earned her degree in education and then began another career, as a teacher.  She has graced Little Flower with twenty-one years of teaching experience.  She is loved, missed, and will always be remembered.

                   Little Field Day

Little Flower Little Field Day is a time to join with students from all grades and form color teams.  It gives students an opportunity to meet others and to work as a team.  They spend the day doing different activities as a team and then all the green teams add up their points and the other
teams do also.  The team that gets the most points from winning the events is the winner.  They stop for a bag lunch. The captains are 8th graders and their co- captains are 7th graders.  It is a great day for fun and building community.

The day begins with Mass where the teams sit together in their respective Saint houses.  The color groups are red, green, blue, black, and yellow.

Little Flower Catholic School’s
Clean Campus Program

Keep Mobile Beautiful Clean Campus Program offers schools many opportunities throughout the school year.

Contests with cash awards, recycling programs, as well as volunteer and field trip opportunities, just to mention a few.

Their goal is to act as a community resource for the students and faculty at our school. They hope to help “grow good citizens” for the future of our city, and focus on Litter Prevention, Beautification and Recycling.

The programs are Clothing Collection, Plastic Recycling Contest, Aluminum Can Recycling, Mixed Paper Recycling, Cellular Phone Recycling, Great American Cleanup, Student Litter Teams,  and the Beautification Project.
